[edit] Characters
- Jack - The Canadian Handox and the protagonist of the series. He is short-tempered by Benson, his chatty, self-centered feline companion and is willing to protect his home planet, Jukia. Jack is voiced by Barry Bostwick.
- Benson - Jack's mouthy, self-centered cat sidekick. Benson likes visits Jack's apartment every day and dislikes having a bath and going on patrol. He has a secret crush on Vyper but sometimes she drives him wild. He has always dreamed of saving Jukia himself. During the series, Benson sometimes walks like Thomas O'Malley from The Aristocats. Benson's voice is provided by Eddie Murphy but in the series he is voiced by Mark Moseley.
- Flame - The deep-voice, medium, fire-breathing dragon. He is presumed to be a better sidekick than Benson. He thinks he can control his emotions. In the episode, Richers United, he reads Benson's page on it about hes rich and famous, also that his agent is Jack and his dear princess, Vyper. Flame is voiced once again by Denis Leary.
- Vyper - The hot kung-fu fox who helps Jack protecting Jukia from Smokey and his alley-cat minions. Like Jack, she is short-tempered. Vyper secretly likes Benson but also she thinks he is too much of a chatterbox. Her kung-fu style is very feminine with high kicks and leaps. Both her and Fox from the Irish cartoon, Skunk Fu! have the same look and relationship. Vyper's voice is provided by Bella Hudson but in the series she is voiced by Patricia Rodriguez.
- Smokey - The evil, alley-cat and minor antagonist of the series. He dislikes Handoxes, but dislikes Jack the most and taking revenge on him by destroying his home planet. He is the minor villain because a new antagonist, Dr. Rupert Shemp has become the main villain becoming Smokey's boss. His plans can come in difficulty by his annoying sidekick, Horace. Smokey's voice is provided by Sean Hayes but in the series he is voiced by Gregg Berger.
- Dr. Rupert Shemp - A small rabbit-type creature who was captured long time ago and now in prison. He has become the main antagonist of the series. Broadcasting from his prison Shemp became Smokey's boss. Shemp is voiced by Michael Gough.
- Horace - Smokey's annoying, calico sidekick and assistant who refers him as a "cub-person" or a "stinking calico bogey". In the episode Jukia Sports Horace shows Smokey silly inventions such as "a huge slime monster made to look and taste like a chocolate bar". Smokey treats Horace like a butler. Horace is voiced by his original voice, Andy Dick.
- President Michael - From New Heir, Michael runs the city of Jukia. Michael's voice was provided by Jesse McCartney but in the series he is voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
- Freddy - Benson's secret alley-cat friend who visits Benson to see what food he has. He is only seen in several episodes. Freddy is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.
- Alley-Cat Army - Smokey's army of alley-cats. They are sly and cunning but most of the time they are dimwitted and clumsy. Voices are by Tom Kenny, Cam Clarke, Quinton Flynn and Jonathan Anderson.
- Nosey - A curious, question-asking cat who has been switched to Jack's sidekick in the episode Sidekick Switch only. He looks a bit like Benson only wearing blue jeans with a brown belt, a marked "?" on his forehead and has a slightly bigger nose (a reference to Pinnochio). Jack manages to get rid of him by covering his mouth with cream making it think its "Sidekick Gob" so he gets Benson back. Nosey is voiced by Quinton Flynn.
- The Feather Trio - A trio of gem-stealing birds who are Elliot the hornbill (voiced also by Gregg Berger), Otis the vulture (voiced by Neil Flynn) and Fly the penguin (voiced by Quinton Flynn also). Though they are antagonists they are also minor but are not seen in many episodes.
