[edit] Plot summary
The episode begins with a quick recap of the events of "United."
The Romulans are disappointed that the marauding ships have failed to create the rift between the Andorians and the Tellarites for which they had hoped. They decide to use the marauding ships to destroy Enterprise.
On Enterprise, it is determined that the marauding ships are being piloted telepathically by an Andorian. Shran proposes that more specifically the pilot might be an Aenar, but this seems unlikely since the Aenar are blind pacifists who live in the North pole of Andoria.
While Phlox and T'Pol work on a device to take control of the marauding ships, Shran and Captain Archer go to Andoria to speak with the Aenar. The Aenar refuse to help as they don't want to get involved in a war. However, Jhamel, whose brother Gareb has been missing, decides to help Archer and Shran. It turns out that the pilot of the marauding ships is in fact Gareb, and Jhamel reaches out to him. Gareb turns the marauding ships on each other, and the Romulans kill him.
