The Adventures of Space Medafighter X (or Space Medafighter X's Journey or simply called Medafighter X) is a television film based on the manga series Medabots. This film was banned from the United States for violence and aired in Japan.

It's about how Hikaru Agata/Henry became the Phantom Renegade and Space Medafighter X. And it tells the wonderful things that happened before he found the rare medal. Dr. Aki hired him before he was a cashier.

- In one episode when his golden mask got sliced, it became a white mask but in this film, when it got sliced it showed his real face.

- Ikki, Metabee, Brass, Erika, Neutranurse, Karin, Sumilidon, Koji, The Screws and the Rubber Robogang did not made an appearance but Ikki's mother made a cameo appearance in a poster when Henry was racing a mute medal thief.
