The Adventures Of Morecambe & Wise was a one-off special compilation presented by Stephen Tompkinson and showcases highlights of the plays and sketches with more exotic feel from the duo's reign at BBC1 in the 1970s. It is presented in a serious documentary style with Tompkinson also providing narration to link footage of the sketches. The credits take the form of a comic book Boy's Own adventure and footage is included from The Mighty Kong, The Curse Of Tutankamen and various other plays and sketches. There are no features from the guest stars as some compilations, merely filling material from Tompkinson who is seen seated at a desk in velvet smoking jacket in a study-cum-library type set.
