The 1978 Demos were the first demos by the Dead Kennedys. They were recorded in late June 1978. Kepone Kids would later become Kepone Factory. Kidnap, Dreadlocks of the Suburbs, Mutations of Today, Cold Fish, and the untitled track remain officially unreleased by the DKs. If released, the track Kidnap might be the subject of a civil suit regarding abetting violence, due to the track containing the stanza "kidnap Donny and rape Marie" -- obviously targeting The Osmonds.
