The Scoop08 is the first-ever daily national student publication, founded to provide exclusive coverage of the 2008 presidential election. It was founded by Alexander Heffner, a senior at Phillips Academy, and Andrew Mangino, a junior at Yale University. [1]

Launched in November of 2007, Scoop08 is composed of a team of student journalists in high schools and colleges across the United States and globe, dedicated to providing in-depth and fresh coverage of the 2008 election. [2]
