[edit] Good Article Review - On Hold

An alright article for the most part, just some minor wrinkles that need to be ironed out:

  • In the first sentence, one might want to add what type of genre it falls into '...is a rock song' or '...is a song from rock band Powderfinger'

  • The "see 2000 in music" is pretty irrelevant

  • "The lyrics of "These Days" were similarly styled to those of other songs written by Fanning between the production of Internationalist and Odyssey Number Five, such as "Passenger" and "My Kind of Scene" could be interpreted as a POV statement. A reference to back that up (maybe an AMG article that connects the songs) would be great.

  • "He also said that some people described the album as the most "melancholy", whilst others said it was the most "hopeful" they had heard in a long time" I don't see how the statement really connects to this article. If it is an integral bit of information, tie it in somehow.

  • "was released whilst Powderfinger were undertaking their "P2K tour" - 'whilst' needs to be replaced with 'while' and 'undertaking' with 'playing' or change the sentence to '...was released while Powderfinger was promoting their P2K tour'

  • "Fanning would go on to take numerous other jabs at Ben Lee - in 2005 he called Lee a "precocious little cunt"" should be rephrased top "Fanning continued to publicly insult Lee, eventually calling him a "precocious little cunt" during a 2005 interview/press release with/during/for [insert place or media outlet]"

  • You may want to add some response from critics (i.e, AMG, Times, EW, NME, etc.; anything that may have commented on the album should be in the "response" section).

Couldn't find anything specifically discussing the song :( Dihydrogen Monoxide 01:30, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
