Talk:The Woodlands School (Mississauga)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
needs a better title - there are dozens of woodland schools. WelcomeVictuallers 17:46, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
The article fails to mention that there is not a single window in any of the classes. Nor does it mention anything about crappy, almost cardboard like walls on the second floor. --Boonierat 02:57, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mascot
Users continue to vandalize this page by creating fictitious mascots. According to the 2006/2007 student agenda, the mascot is Zain Ghadially.
[edit] Re think this
I geuss ure a student at the school?? (like me) well If you look in abstract...you'll find that its been there for a while now Catlover90 23:07, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cheap walls
After remoddeling the second floor, they added in cheap 2cm thick walls. These are quite pointless as they provide no sound proofing and everything can be heard through them. You can see through all the cracks too. Windows are scarce in the school except for the front and in the rooms mentioned in the abstract.
Students can now choose their courses online which makes things easier.
[edit] Re Cheap walls
Sorry, I missed that abstract section. Anyways, I wouldn't say that online course selection is "easier". You still have to bring in a verification form and show that to your councellor...pretty stupid in my mind. If you're gonna choose courses online, why not verify online. Otherwise it becomes pretty pointless.
[edit] Use of Discussion
The article is written poorly, almost like a student in grade 8 wrote it. The article needs to be cleaned up for more neutrality and to be more informative, the kind of writing in this article would be more for a school website.
Also, Wikipedia is not to be used as a forum. The discussion pages are to be used for discussing things relating to the text only. e.g. Writing style and errors.
[edit] Confused
I'm sorry I dont understand what the nuterality issue is. make yourself a little clear. Catlover90 02:47, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Confused
"In addition to a wealth of resources and talent, The Woodlands has a wealth of "clients". Woodlands students speak more than sixty first languages and we have a "representative" from just about every country on the planet!"
This would be an example of non-neutrality. Note the exclamation mark at the end. This makes it obvious that the writer was a student at the school. The article has to be more objective.
[edit] CRICKET TEAM
74.96.245.151 02:38, 15 December 2006 (UTC) You talk about Woodlands extra criculuar activities and don't talk about the cricket team that's won multiple time and had the best reputation.
