Talk:The Woodlands High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The name of the school really is "The Woodlands High School" - it is the high school for the City of "The Woodlands". -- BD2412 talk 23:33, 2005 May 30 (UTC)
- Please note that The Woodlands is not a city. It is master-planned community with its own mailing address. A place or area with its own mailing address does not mean it is a city. The community is located within the city of Houston's extraterritorial jurisdiction. UH Collegian 06:23, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Actually, The Woodlands is an unincorporated area mostly in Montgomery County, which doesn't include Houston. It has expanded a little bit into Harris County. It is a Census-designated place and an acceptable city name. Idbeholda (talk) 20:59, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] There's a high school of that name in Hartsdale, NY!
How come there's no mention of it? SalJyDieBoereKomLei 13:28, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] History
J.L. McCullough High School is not mentioned, but was the predecessor to The Woodlands High School. Its facilities are now part of McCullough Junior High School. This history should be mentioned, or a J.L. McCullough High School article written, but I don't have the time to write a good one. Idbeholda (talk) 20:59, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
