[edit] Influence on gear

shouldn't this be "The Who's influence on Cream and Jimi Hendrix's gear"? There's nothing about sound here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.125.110.223 (talk) 14:57, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I also had issues with this article. It's primarily about Marshall Stacks. It is a very interesting and noteworthy article, but it is currently written poorly, and only concerns this one aspect of The Who's influence on rock music instruments/equipment, of which The Who is well-known innovator in several regards.
I think the originator of this article started a worthy subject, and wrote the article from the basis of obvious expertise, but it is currently badly written, and needs to be cleaned up, and also expanded to include other aspects of The Who's famous influence.
Unfortunately, I lack the expertise to do this, although I'm interested in the subject. So I hope this article doesn't get deleted, but instead expanded and re-written... StrangeAttractor (talk) 06:22, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
