Articles for deletion This article was nominated for deletion on 10 December 2006. The result of the discussion was no consensus.

--I'm not sure why it should be deleted. I can see rewriting the character outlines to be a bit less sales-y. It's certainly informative about a popular strip, books and the artist/author, and doesn't make any direct attempt to sell anything.209.43.8.126 02:40, 12 December 2006 (UTC)Michael Z. Williamson

--I'll agree with the above statement. I read the comic regularly. If someone tells me what is the problem with this entry, I will see if I can edit it to comply. Otherwise, if this entry is deleted, you might as well delete every other entry about a web-based comic, including "Irregular Webcomic!" Apeman33 03:27, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

--Seems to me this website meets the necessary criteria. I do not know why it is being considered for deletion. The person who claimed they could not find the website must not have been looking too hard. The comic has been around for over 4 years. I don't see anything "salesy" about the strip, however the page around the strip does from time to time promote items for sale that are related to the comic. Other webcomics that are updated far less frequently are present in Wikipedia, and as such I believe this article warrants inclusion in Wikipedia.

--I should hope that this article is not deleted. wikipedia contains far more worthless information... I share the same feelings with the above comments. The Whiteboard deserves its spot on Wikipedia.

--Given that there are many other webcomics in the Wiki without 1/10 the readership or fan loyalty that The Whiteboard enjoys, why is deletion even a consideration?

--This is a NOTABLE and PUBLISHED webcomic within the Paintball community. It has been printed in numerous magazines, linked to and discussed on notable blogs, and recognized by paintballers the world over. There is no reason for this to be considered for deletion. --There is absolutly no reason to try and delete this webcomic. It has a rather large fan base and has been published in not just his own books. There have been numerous cameos in other popular webcomics WITH articles on wiki. Brandonhard 16:38, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Comment to the Author Doc, You stated in the AfD page that you wanted a different picture on the infobox than the cover of the book. Please let give us an idea of what you would like, and we'll take care of it. Nightfalke 20:53, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

--No consensus? Um, it looks to me like it was unanimous in favor of keeping, but whatever. Apeman33 21:26, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

--Well I vote to keep it. Seems to meet everything needed to stay in wikipedia.

[edit] Furryness

While I appreciate the author's intentions, the fact that it contains anthropomorphic animals kinda drops it under WP:FURRY, though I'd hesitate to put it in Category:Furry comics. GreenReaper (talk) 00:02, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
