[edit] Verifiability

I have removed the tag that submits this article for speedy deletion because it covers one of the most important cryptozzoological events in the world. It is the second largest fortean conference in the UK, and is a very important event. Lazarusx

Can you verify those claims? ccwaters 22:04, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
It is already verified and sourced in the article. That fact was stated in the review of the 2006 event in Fortean Times magazine. Fortean Times is the UK's longest running paranormal magazine and not affiliated with The Centre for Fortean Zoology (CFZ) who organize the event.--Shearluck 14:27, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
It still needs proving though: WP:V. We both know it is fine (and it certainly doesn't need a speedy deletion) but that isn't good enough for someone just passing through. I'm sure you have to have a file of press clippings or some such (as the press can't help themselves from hanging around waiting for the weirdness to start). As well as more sources (what I'd like is a reference for the WW reviews in FT - I'll dig one out if I can) but it also needs copy editing and wikifying (those references need to use the footnote system for example) and a number of statements removed and some others demonstrated. I'll have a look through and see what I can do. (Emperor 00:39, 31 March 2007 (UTC))

I agree with Emoeror. Do not delete this article. Be careful of terms that make it sound like an advert. I would like to see the desciption of "open day" expanded, i.e. needs clarification. You might want to list the topics covered along with the speakers. Sounds like a good line-up. Best of luck for a fab time! SageMab
