Talk:The Trindade Island's UFO
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I had to add the skeptical side of this case. The original author presented it (in broken English) as if the case was a slam dunk mysterious UFO case. In fact many, even in the UFO community, consider it a hoax. There are many inexplicable UFO cases. This is not one of them. Point 2 - I feel that if you don't speak or write English well, you shouldn't try to write a Wikipedia article in English.Rodney420 (talk) 16:17, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Being in accordance with the policies is more important than writing in a native level of English. See WP:NPA to see if you are or not in accordance with the policies here. "Comment on the content, not on the contributor". Victao lopes (talk) 22:17, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Skeptical side"
The "skeptical side" of the history has been removed from the article because it is copyright violation from this site. Copyrighted material should not be just copied and pasted here, it should be rather rewritten, summarized and referenced with the original source. Thank you, Victao lopes (talk) 18:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Victao; you were right about my edit and the copyright, my mistake. Therefore I rewrote and summarized the information and cited the source. Note that the source is actually one that you provided in your original article! I hope this meets with your approval.Rodney420 (talk) 18:09, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid It wasn't me who provided this source. It was Nima Baghaei. Anyway, thanks for changing the paragraph. Victor Lopes (talk) 03:03, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
