Talk:The Trial of Tony Blair

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The plane shown taking off at the end is an American Airlines plane. Is there any significance to this? AA don't and can't fly from London to Amsterdam (because of the lack of an open skies agreement). Was the film making a point about something? ... Kafkaesque Seabhcan 14:32, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Actually I thought this inference was rather far-fetched and not suggested by the script, so I cut it:

However, the final shot of the film shows an American Airlines plane taking off. This may allude to the possibility that the US does give citizenship to Tony Blair and would therefore be immune from the trial which the US does not recognise. On the other the US, after the election of Hillary Clinton, is hostile to Tony Blair and this inference could be unwarranted.

[edit] success?

I heard that it was a failuer - so how well did it do? I know its not a movie, but as Briton who supports Blair I am keen to see how poorly this far-flung imagination fails.

And now that I have said that, I know I am gonna get some personal comments. Tourskin 18:53, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

How do you define the success of a once off tv program? ... Kafkaesque Seabhcan 21:27, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
