Talk:The Times They Are A-Changin' (Burl Ives album)

[edit] Revision
Good revision, Design. But what are your sources for the following?
"It was recorded at Columbia Studios in Nashville, with local session musicians."
"It features songs by ... Johnny Cash."
"Folk Singer" (Johnny Cash/Charlie Daniels)
None of these details can be substantiated by the album itself or the album cover.
In fact the album credits "C. E. Daniels" for "Folk Singer" and doesn't mention Cash at all. I have no doubt your information is good, but from what published source does it come? --Chironomia
- I've added refs. for the various song credits: BMI.com and ASCAP.com. BMI list Daniels & Cash as the co-writers of "Folksinger" (one word). Hmmm, you're right about the Columbia Studios, Nashville details, I have a source for Johnny Cash's own March 1968 recording there, but not Ives. Sorry. --Design 12:50, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Many thanks. -- Chironomia, 10:40 a.m., 4 Jan. 07
[edit] Genre
Phantompie changed the stub from pop to folk. I agree that pop is not quite right, but folk is certainly not right. Ideas? Chironomia 06:23, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
