- Keep and send to cleanup. Definitely notable. --rbrwr± 13:59, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and cleanup. Yes, it's a mess but it's marginally better than nothing. --fvw* 14:02, 2004 Dec 24 (UTC)
- Obvious keep. Why the time-wasting nomination in the first place? Dan100 14:52, Dec 24, 2004 (UTC)
- Cleanup needed, but valid subject. Keep. DJ Clayworth 14:59, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Strong keep, Weak cleanup. It could use cleanup, but many articles on more important subjects are in more urgent need of cleanup. This will do. It is far from incoherence. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 15:48, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and remove cleanup tag. Yeah, it's not the perfect article, but how many are? There are soooooo many needier Cleanup candidates going back months--this can wait for normal, organic improvements. Niteowlneils 16:06, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Good article. And looking back through the history, I can find no reason for listing this on VfD at any stage. The very first version might have been a deletable substub, but one minute later it was a good stub at least. Andrewa 20:02, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, it's how they've funded their retirement. Wyss 00:38, 25 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. Why was this nominated? If an article needs revision, that's not a criteria for VfD, IMO. 23skidoo 06:42, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, a world famous group consisting of, arguably, the three most famous tenors in the world. If the article was messy to begin with, it should have been sent to clenup not here.
- Keep. --BenM 15:25, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. And please stop deletion trolling. Mark Richards 21:46, 27 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Delete nominator for bogus nomination - David Gerard 23:19, 27 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. There should be a warning and then ban implemented for repeatedly listing articles which are unanimously voted keep. However, I do not think this would apply to Benjaminong. GRider\talk 18:26, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep - The 3 tenors are a genuine subject. -- Judson 21:45, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep - Clearly a keeper Dmn / Դմն 00:14, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, the article should never have been nominated for deletion. -- Crevaner 00:17, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I agree with Crevaner, it is indeed "clearly a keeper". -- Old Right 00:21, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Syntax errors
The writing here is inconsistent. It starts off saying that the Three Tenors are a series of concerts, then the second paragraph mentions the Three Tenors giving a concert. So which is it? Are they a concert or are the three tenors who give concerts? I'd say the latter, but I'd like to hear what others say. Also, should Zubin Mehta be mentioned? I know he's been the conductor at some of the most popular concerts, but I'm not sure if his association with them is more than incidental. Can anyone comment? -R. fiend 07:49, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- That inconsistency was probably a side-effect of my attempts to wrestle the pre-existing article into shape. I should have thrown it out and started afresh, with "The Three Tenors" being the singers, of course. Be bold in fixing it. --rbrwr± 09:07, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC) ==
Seinfeld episode that mentions the other two several times, yet refers to Carreras only as "the other guy".
Needs expert commentary about the range and other technical abilities of each singer during the concert series and when in his prime.
