Dotrecords 19:53, 24 March 2007 (UTC)The Tarantulas were one of the original do-it-yourself bands to emerge from the 1990's radio-rock years. Their self-produced recordings garnished worldwide attention and helped other bands to realize that a record company was not required to achieve respect in the music industry. Furthermore, The Tarantulas carry on a legacy of roots instrumental rock and roll that was originally created in the 1950's. There are only a handful of bands that offer this type of musical education to the music listening public. Instead of selling out, The Tarantulas have maintained their sense of loyalty to 1950's and 1960's style rock and roll. The Tarantulas are a rare band considering their style of music and the style of music heard on radio today. The Tarantulas offer the listening public a chance the hear the kind of music that is rarely heard anymore. This article (The Tarantulas) is extremely important to the music industry. [edit] These guys are still around!

Great article on this original indie surf band. I remember when I lived back in Florida years ago and these guys were always on the radio. It's amazing that they haven't recieved more recognition. The Tarantulas are one of a kind. Great work, Wikipedia!!!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.121.23.243 (talk) 00:21, 31 March 2007 (UTC).
