Talk:The Suite Life of Zack & Cody recurring characters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Was this necessary?
With the original article pending a name change and no discussion of splitting out recurring characters, was this a necessary content fork? Wouldn't it have been better to drastically reduce the length of character descriptions for characters with existing Wiki articles and left this information intact in the main article until the length was unmanageable? And then made a "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody characters" page instead of this one, moving all the character content? - Debuskjt 23:04, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Madeline Fitzpatrick Redirect Issue
There has risen an edit war over the last day or so on the Maddie article between User:Eusebeus and a few other editors over whether this character (and I'm not sure why it's just this character) merits an article. I'm considering bringing this to the attention of an experienced administrator to review this and see what needs to be done. WAVY 10 19:30, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- All character articles need to be redirected unless they aspire to the standard laid out at WP:FICT. And please don't bother with the whole "important character to the series" stuff. Clear consensus against inherited notability exists and WP:FICT is a highly readable, and easily understood. Of course, if out-of-universe notability can be asserted, then these articles should remain but be rewritten to reflect the OOU notability. Eusebeus 19:33, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Emily Morris
Emily Morris has played as quite a few other characters before that maid in "Odd Couples." ----DanTD 13:58, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Twins at the Tipton Zand and Cody episode.jpg
Image:Twins at the Tipton Zand and Cody episode.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Tony Allie
I'm pretty sure that this "Tony Allie" character has been made up by a fan. There is no source of where they got the 'information', and it also claims that he will appear in the fourth season. Ashley Tisdale has said that they have filmed the last episode, so there will be no fourth season. Does anyone have any prrof that this character is real? 68.117.135.98 17:13, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Removed as bogus. --NrDg 17:22, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Clean up
This page needs a massive clean up. Any character who has appeared in only a single episode needs to be removed. This is a list of recurring characters. Recurring means occurring more than once. Anyone appearing only once isn't really that important. As well, characters who haven't appeared on screen should be removed with the exception of characters mentioned often (Portia for example). Most of the animals for example need to be removed. Notable Guest Stars should also be removed unless someone can supply what makes them a Notable Guest Star. Main characters should be cropped too, goals should be taken out IMHO, as they're just fancruft. Most of the family members should be taken off especially if they aren't important to the show overall, they never appear or if they're listed else where in the article. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 19:01, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Arwin's Inventions

[edit] Supposed to be recurring characters, but...
Funny, I don't think Trevor (Zac Efron's character) counts as a recurring role since, so far, he's made only ONE appearance (and the show has almost wrapped up). WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 15:11, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- I would normally agree, but he could still show up in a later episode. (btw, im not the one who made the edit.)Igglybuff63 (talk) 13:00, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
