Talk:The Story of Catcher Freeman

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"In Grandad's and Ruckus' verions, people are shown using guns that are quickly reloaded, these style of guns were not invented until well into the civil war after slavery was outlawed in the south."

That sentence is very american centric as if all developments revolved around the US. Guns had been progressing for hundreds of years in Europe. For example, in the Franco-Prussian War there were guns that could be fired relatively fast. Even before that, soldiers were trained to reload their guns quickly. This sentence should be changed or utterly removed.
