I renamed and merged this article from the original article, which was named The Councillor of State, because the English translation will be published as The State Counsellor, according to Amazon UK. Vidor 01:03, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Will be receiving my mail-order copy of the English translation soon and expanding the "plot" section of this article thereafter. Vidor (talk) 14:46, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
