[edit] Ballad

do anyone read about the ballad "DO NOT HEED HER WARNING"? IF U DO, DO u know any ballad that similar to this ballad?, in elements, theme, form and etc.

[edit] 7/27/06 Letterman appearance

Can anyone mod the article with the lineup that just appeared on Letterman? To my eye, Bobbie sang lead and I thought I recognized Pervis (2nd from right) and Henry (far left). Does anyone know who the other two were? What happened (who was) the short guy from the 1970s?

[edit] Love is in Season

Does anyone know where I can download the track 'Love Is In Season' I believe it was released in 1984 on Atlantic records.

[edit] Lies

Personally, I take issue with the following sentence:

'The Spinners are known in the United Kingdom as The Detroit Spinners or The Motown Spinners because a Liverpool-based folk band had taken the name "The Spinners" in Britain during the 1960s.'

I'm British and if you say 'The Spinners' to me then the group in this page is the first thing I think of. In fact, I hadn't even heard of the British one until I read this page so I believe that this sentence should be removed.

I disagree. I grew up in the 1970s when the Spinners from Liverpool were quite famous, arguably more so than the Detroit ones. I'm reinstating it. MFlet1 21:54, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
These figures should have citations, just because you call The American Spinners by a certain name doesn't mean it's universally used by those living in Britain. The Detroit Spinners where arguably more popular and where formed first, therefore they should have the name. 72.152.135.75 (talk) 18:19, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Spinnerss.jpg

Image:Spinnerss.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
