Talk:The South End

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Michigan The South End is part of WikiProject Michigan, a WikiProject related to the U.S. state of Michigan.
To-do list for The South End:
  1. Research history of the paper 1969 to 2001
  2. Mention other sections (opinion, sports, A & E, sci/tech, etc.)
  3. Talk about student cartoonists published in this paper
Priority 6

It resumed printing today, first day of classes at WSU. There probably won't be a 2007 error log. They make so many mistakes in each issue it's like shooting fish in a barrel. No fun. Nothing worth sending in to Jay Leno's Headlines. Carla Bondicteuresse 17:59, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merge proposal

I propose that the article Joseph Fisher be merged into this one then deleted. There's little in his article that isn't already covered here, and I imagine he'd fail the guidelines at WP:BIO. Thomjakobsen 22:50, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Support merge. I hope in the future this young man does something positive enough to counteract his youthful outburst of infamy. But as of today I think he's only notable enough to mention in the South End article. Carla Bondicteuresse 15:11, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

OK, I've turned it into a redirect here. I haven't merged any of the text because the existing coverage is probably enough, but for reference the old page history can be found here in case any of it is useful. Thomjakobsen 01:56, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
