Are current auction prices for sculptures by Lorado Taft the basis for the estimate of $1,000,000 value in this article, or is the masonry structure being assessed as well? --Wetman 01:02, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Source doesn't say but I can't imagine anyone appraising art is appraising it for the value of the material used to create it. That would be like factoring in the cost of paint when appraising a Monet.A mcmurray 13:12, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
