???

The cleanup portion of the article should be deleted, since it's just the contributor's thoughts about the diet and why it might work, i.e., original material, in violation of Wikipedia rules.

The article should describe the diet as its creator formulated it, in his papers, book, or web site, or report others' informed opinions of it as expressed elsewhere. If the contributor wants to make original speculation about the diet, he should do it on a blog, and then perhaps link to it in the links section.

I've done some expansion here, trying to stick to what's actually in the book, although I don't have my copy handy at the moment. I've tried to keep it neutral but who knows if I succeeded. Jerry Kindall 04:27, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrite

I've rewritten this Wikipedia entry relying exclusively on the book, quoting the book in several places. Additionally, I've mentioned more recent breakthroughs over at the Shangri-la forums (links provided). 81.154.73.242 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 13:29, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
