[edit] Show's title
I have removed the "citation needed" tag on the sentence that stated the performance name was a conscious reprise of the 1979 show, as i fail to see how that can be disputed: there was an earlier show, called The Secret Policeman's Ball (established fact, and linked to the relevant paged in this august publication) this show has taken that name and shoved this year's date in parentheses at the end. if anyone does not think that that is a "conscious reprise" of the 1979 show can they please offer an alternative explanation?--Bilbo B 10:36, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- It was not the "conscious reprise" comment that I had tagged, if it was then the tag would have been after those very words. Instead, it was the claim that the 1979 show heralded a breakthrough in public awareness of the organisation that I thought needed a reference and therefore tagged.--Stenun 15:52, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. In fact there are several other similar "citation needed" tags that have been inserted in this article. One or two might be warranted - but the majority seem to seek citations for facts that are not really in dispute and can be found in the main article for all the shows. (In same "august publication"!) Davidpatrick 13:46, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Each of the "citation needed" tags that I added were added to statements that I feel need to be sourced. Especially the last paragraph that talks about the reactions to the show among the media. If you disagree, perhaps you could tell me which tags in particular you disagree with?--Stenun 15:55, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
