Talk:The Schnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is this real? Tell me this isn't real. I have the horrible feeling this exists. Jwrosenzweig 19:33, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)

- Oh, it existed, all right! It wasn't bad, either, despite what you might be led to believe by the brief Wiki description. Yes, it was a Ren and Stimpy knock-off (but let's face it, so was Spongebob Squarepants and a bazillion other 90's cartoons). Yes, the Schnookums and Meat characters weren't especially entertaining.
-
- However, the further away you got from them, the better the show became. Pith Possum was an amusing parody of Batman (the 60's TV show, not the 90's cartoon) and Tex Tinstar was absolutely hilarious, a satire of old cowboy movies starring a boneheaded cowpoke and a Mexican bandito with a decidedly British accent. It was a wonderfully demented cross between The Lone Ranger, Eek! The Cat, and Dudley Do-Right, with the best parts of those three shows.
-
- Too bad the producers didn't have their priorities straight when they made this... because of the emphasis on Schnookums and Meat, the show will forever be remembered as "just another Ren and Stimpy clone," and the true genius hidden within will be lost to the sands of time. --M.Neko 11:46, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
It seems to exist and looks like a copy of Ren and Stimpy. TvTome page. Secretlondon 19:39, Feb 23, 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks, Secretlondon....well, I guess I'll just classify this under "True, Frightening but". :-) Jwrosenzweig 19:41, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)
It would be helpful if the article said more than it was a "show". Could be a Broadway show for all the reader will learn here - Marshman 19:45, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- Looks good now. -- user:zanimum October 18, 2005

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Poptart001 798.jpg
Image:Poptart001 798.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
