Talk:The Saved Sect

I've just been looking at their website, yikes. I have added some more information based on what I read. --Ebz 19:30, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Needs urgent attention

This article is very low on quality and information. This is because "The saved sect" is a term which is widely used in the Muslim world. This is used to refer to the people who will enter paradise, avoiding hell. This article should have dealt with what the phrase "The saved sect" exactly means in the Islamic context.

This is so because no a single Muslim group will ever say that they are not "The saved sect". And a lot of groups claim it.

In another narration of this hadith, the Prophet described this group as, "That sect is what I and my companions are upon". -- 17:15, 15 November 2006 202.53.9.197

If you want to write an article about the traditional and exegetical meanings of the Arabic phrase الفرقة الناجية within Islam, that might be an interesting article, but that's not what this article is mainly about. This article is about a specific British group, and doesn't claim to be about the traditional and exegetical meanings of the Arabic phrase الفرقة الناجية within Islam -- so there's actually no problem.
