[edit] Opening act

I haven't heard much of these guys, but I know that they opened for Nine Inch Nails at two shows in mid/late August, 2005; one in Sydney and the other in Brisbane or Melbourne. Is this worth nothing in the article? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.59.172.189 (talk • contribs) .

Feel free to add that in. jareha 19:27, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Non-encyclopedic content

I'm not a fan of the whole article. "The sound of bloodied tears" isn't meant for an encyclopedia, keep it for livejournal. The preceding unsigned comment was added by PorscheFanatic (talk • contribs) .

thanks for fixing it up The preceding unsigned comment was added by PorscheFanatic (talk • contribs) .
No problem. jareha 19:27, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Follow up: The new 'history' section for the band sounds like a press release rather than an encyclopedia entry. e.g.
"The single contains the beautifully haunting title track which speaks from the depths of songwriter Trash McSweeney's soul" and "and makes a hard copy of this album a must-have, not to mention the mournfully grand music video for "We Belong In The Sea" is contained within the disc as an enhanced feature" this is not an objective view point and the 'makes a hard copy of this album a must-have' line is dangerously close to an advert.
once again, this kind of writing is more appropriate for a blog than an encyclopedia entry. It needs to be cleaned up. 218.214.144.234 (talk) 23:28, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, and style should be more compact. Anyway i reverted it and noted the writer that we were talking it here --Zache (talk) 17:05, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Backlash

Moved from article: "There has been alot of backlash from Brisbane musicians and concert-goers, with many believing that asking fans for money was a greedy, selfish act, and the only people having fun at their rather self indulgent shows, was themselves. Popular Brisbane musician, Bernard Fanning once labeled lead singer Trash McSweeny as "the worst musician, to come out of this city, ever"."

I'm finnish and i don't know nor care the brisbane local artist personal dislikes, but this thing seems to be coming back so if somebody want's it to article s/he should have some references for it. What i quick checked with google and technorati i didn't found any big dislikes against the money raising. --Zache 06:59, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
We also need to look into the whole notion of a backlash, I'm finding it hard to verify as actually occuring. Rotovia (talk) 02:14, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
