To explain my recent edits, I quote WP:MOSDAB:

When a page has "(disambiguation)" in the title, users are unlikely to stumble on it by accident. They will arrive there by clicking on a link from the primary topic article, by searching, or by directly typing its URL..

Currently, the primary topic for "The Program" is the film, so it goes above the others, per the MoS. Additionally, the band "The Programme" is the primary topic for that title, so disambiguation is not needed. It is listed in the "see also" section, as it is a "Term... which can be confused with Title", or a "Likely misspelling of Title." The comic book doesn't have a page, it doesn't need to be listed here.--Cúchullain ^t/c 00:10, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

I wasn't aware of that provision in MOSDAB; thanks. As to the comic book, it is mentioned in the article that was linked there (not the red link, which shouldn't have been linked, I think). Isn't it appropriate to have dab items to articles that refer to the topic but are not named for it? Do we need another dab page for "The Programme" now? Dicklyon 03:28, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

We wouldn't need another dab page, but I would think the comic should be linked from a disambuation note at the top of the band's page -- if there were an article on it (if we had articles on several things called "The Programme", then it would require a new page, or at least a section on this page.) As for the comic, well, my judgement was that it isn't notable; we don't have an article on it, and readers are unlikely to come to this or any page looking for it. Dab pages are not indices of all possible uses of a title. To remove the confusion, I think it should be unlinked in those other articles, unless or until someone creates an article on it.--Cúchullain ^t/c 07:59, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

WP:RED states that "In general, red links should not be removed if they link to something that could plausibly sustain an article." Also, it may have been an unlikely event, but I did in fact originally come here looking to read about the comic. --DocumentN (talk) 04:16, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

I don't think that comic is one of the "good" red links, its notability and verifiability are questionable. Even if there were an article on it, it wouldn't belong at this page, as I said above - it should be disambiguated from The Programme. --Cúchullain ^t/c 07:26, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
