Move it to another Wiki section if you must, but the historical importance of this article - and the significance of the article to so many - mark it as being of historical importance to civilization.
The words of the Declaration of Independence or Magna Charta would receive similar consideration - of such importance to the history of our society that the preservation of the same is tantamount to other considerations.
Thank you for making such noble works so accessible for the furtherance of knowledge and the building of our human race.

My 'deletion' proposal was actually a proposal to move the speech to English Wikisource, which is expressly designed for the content of written and oral works.
