[edit] Why quote the NYT film review?

Whether it was Bosley Crowther or some other hack hardly matters; looking back we can safely say that they were wrong on virtually every movie that was not a safe bet. Crowther thought, for example, that the next-to-final scene in Seven Samurai was confused and complained that Kurosawa only showed the horses' legs. I know you can offer this review as a piece of history, but . . . 24.126.41.116 02:57, 1 May 2005 (UTC) aka User:Italo Svevo
