[edit] Keep!
I believe this article to be one of the most notable songs off the album - definitely more than Amaranth.
Reasons to keep it:
- It is full of trivia and interisting details on the story
- It is the album opener and the main song of the album
- The album was firstly supposed TO BE CALLED The Poet and the Pendulum
- The name of the album ("Dark Passion Play") is from is from the song
- It is their longest song yet
- It was supposed to be a single at first
- It is concidered their best song ever by the band leader
- It saved Holopainen's life
I think that's enough. Do you? - Aki (talk) 22:40, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has spoken, I'm afraid. But you're free to nominate it for review. Rehevkor (talk) 22:42, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Original research/notability
This article still has major issues with original research. Almost the entirety of the "Story" section is an individual's interpretation of the lyrics and probably needs to be re-written and more sources added. it's been tagged for a few months now, so would someone please address this issue. Notability is still also an issue, being the favorite song of the front man is no enough, it needs notability through third parties. I've given plenty of opportunity to address the issues within the article but it's still not up to scratch. If nothing is done I'll, one again, nominate for deletion.
