[edit] Notability

Weston-super-Mare is a large town in the South West of England and is the main town in the unitary district of North Somerset. The town is definitely notable - hence the long article and the large number of references to it elsewhere. I think it is reasonable to consider that an article about the main theatre in a town like Weston is notable. Yes, the article is short and should be expanded, but it certainly shouldn't be deleted. No such notability tag exists on the Roses Theatre which is smaller and less remarkable than the Playhouse (I used to work at The Roses, so I know), nor is the tag applied to the Rondo Theatre or Barnfield Theatre. If nobody objects in the next few days I am going to remove the notability tag completely. I might also expand the article! --Cheesy Mike 18:49, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Nobody objected so I removed the notability tag. --Cheesy Mike 16:12, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
