[edit] Pictures
Now that the episode has aired on TV, we need to get some pictures for this article. I'd do it, but I don't know how.--Freespirit1981 01:40, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
There are plenty of screen shots at: http://www.avatarspirit.net/index.php --Freespirit1981 16:53, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- One problem there is that they also watermark their screencaps with a web logo. A more direct screengrab from a user would be better, though whether it should be of the Painted Lady's "first" or "last" appearance, I'm not sure of. Cybertooth85 21:48, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I see what you mean. And, I just asked Acastus for permission to use a few of the screen shots from his site, too. (Sigh.) Are you able to put the needed pictures in? --Freespirit1981 23:53, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Acastus just emailed me, and said that we could use a few pictures. As long as we don't use anything other content, though. :) I'm going to try to upload the two pictures that I saved on my computer.--Freespirit1981 00:01, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
I looked at the special page, and it said something about a license. Since I don't have one, I guess that I can't upload anything. :( --Freespirit1981 00:09, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- If the person said you could use the image then you can. 86.137.237.167 10:00, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shu/xu
According to the nick site one of the old man's names is spelled xu not shu. I'm not good at editing so I don't want to mess anything up. 68.39.99.22 01:19, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Oh, someone changed it already. Thanks 68.39.99.22 19:04, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Poltergeist
When Katara is approaching the village as the painted lady, a boy says "She's comiiing...", similar to in the poltergeist. When ever I pu this in the references to pop culture, its removed. Whoever is doing that needs to stop, because it really happened in the episode.--Count Mall 22:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:The Painted Lady 10.png
Image:The Painted Lady 10.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
