This game does have a story. Maybe not the best one, but a story non the less. I was wondering if anyone knew everything that happens, just so we could maybe put in a little snub about the story. Such as list the game, and the major events that occur in that game. I think we can skip (for now) the "bonus" games, as Futaba doesnt really add anything, and can be considered non cannon. Oneechanbara - The two sisters blah blah blah (list the story thus far) Oneechanabra II - Aya and Saki are reuinted, yet... and then list the story. And do the same for Vortex and Revolution. I actually know NOTHING about the story in Revolution, so any info is appreciated. Thanks to anyone who wants to help!!!! :-)

[edit] Rename to Oneechanbara

OK. I made this page. Their WAS no Oneechanabra page before I made one. Someone has been tampering with this and it's REALLY infuriating me. Oneechanbara, spelt right or not, its how it should be. It is also what the fans know it as. Zombie Zone not only sounds corny but all of the other 6 are known as Oneechanbara. Also, the japanese links are relevent. Just because you don't know japanese please dont remove links that are valuabel. Not only do they provide screenshots but also videos and more. I forgot how to rename this page, but I would appreciate it if someone would please change it back. Zombie Zone might not be your ideal name for the game, it isn't mine either, but that's what it is known as in the western world. This is an English language encyclopedia, Ape Escape is not listed under its Japanese name, neither are any other games available in Oz/America/Europe. Listing it as the Japanese name is stating 'if it isn't released in America, it doesn't count as a western release'. Sorry, that's wrong. The first game is not the only one that's going to be in English, The Oneechamploo (or however it is spelt) is being released in Europe in February as Zombie Hunters. The All Star Fighter (or again, whatever it is called) is also getting a release. Links in languages which aren't English are discouraged in WP:EL, unless they add something fundemental. The D3 links add nothing but some shots and (if the viewer can find them) a few gameplay-footage adverts. Images are something we should be looking for to include in the article, gameplay footage is not something that's directly linked-to in articles in most cases, so indirect linking via a non-english site is even less appropriate. Eventually each game could have their own article, if enough material is found, with the westernised name as a title if it's released or the Oneechanbara name if not. My sincere graditude for whomever changed this page to the way me and other fans think it should properly be. I understand this is an english encyclopedia but the majority of the games were called "oneechanbara" and that is what many of the fans know it as. The PAL names are inconscentant at that and i feel like it adds to the confusion of the whole. Thanks again. It's good to work together to make Wiki a better place thats is more accurate and reliable. -Kevin

I've moved your comment down here Kevin, as it relates to what you're discussing. SeizureDog took care of the rename to Oneechanbara Series. I was the one who moved it to Zombie Zone in the first place. I believed that what I was doing was right and had precedent, however after asking the CVG project for guidance after the above concern was raised, it turned out I was wrong. I should have done so first, in hindsight. My apologies for the frustration this has caused. What was done can quickly be undone on WP, so the article is fine and can continue to grow. NM, once I've learned how I'll do so myself, redirecting all relevant terms here. Once Zombie Hunters (the updated version of Zombie Zone with two extra characters, not the genuine sequel) is released in Europe, there should be some sources and info to expand this article, eventually splitting off into individual games. Oneechanbara (with two e's) is not the correct spelling. It's Onechanbara with one e.

I'm getting different spellings for this game and The Oneechanpuuruu/champloo. I think the common variations on the names should all be redirected here, with the article becoming Zombie Zone. If it weren't for the fact that the English language release was Europe-only and received no advertising or publicity whatsoever, the title would already have been changed. No, it's in romaji: Oneechanbara. Look here at the katakana: http://www.d3p.co.jp/s_20/s20_061.html. There should be two "e"s.

correct translation for "お姉チャンバラ" is "Onee Chanbara" (for "Big Sis' Chanbara") can't you make the difference between hiragana, kanji and katakana... :( Paris By Night 21:06, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

That's no translation, it's a transliteration. The name itself is a pun, made up of the words "oneetyan" (big sister) and "tyanbara" (sword fight). Now, "onee" isn't a standalone word - it really requires either "-san" or "-tyan" to follow it. Because of this, the current article name looks odd and, in my opinion, is broken. While spaces are somewhat arbitrary in Japanese, I think this should be Oneetyanbara (that is, Oneechanbara in Hepburn), without any spaces. --61.193.36.143 (talk) 11:44, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
