The correct translation of "L'Ulivo" is "The Olive Tree" and not "Olive tree".

You're right. --Checco 14:02, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Does the Uniti nell'Ulivo federation have a future, seeing as the three member parties (DS, DL, MRE) and set to merge into the Democratic Party? Free Socialist 12:57, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

It depends on what you mean with "future". If you digit www.ulivo.it (official Olive Tree website) on your favourite web browser, you can realize the "future" prospect of the whole Olive Tree idea is actually the Democratic Party. --Angelo 19:01, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
... which means it'll become a historical federation, Italian-political-party-template-wise here on Wikipedia, BTW. ;)Nightstallion 19:07, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Given the huge number of potential articles like this, I think you might actually start a whole Wikipedia fork featuring only Italian historical parties/movement/federation/things/whatevers... Sad but true. --Angelo 19:10, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
True enough, yeah... —Nightstallion 16:54, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The article urgently needs being updated

I was about to translate this article into Norwegian, but it seems to be outdated. The new party was obiously formed in October. Could anyone who knows more about the development, or that understand the beautiful Italian language (and therefore could translate) do the job? --Oddeivind (talk) 21:52, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Yep, the new party was founded, and it has its own article here. The Olive Tree subject obviously needs to be updated, but if you want to cover the recent developments please consider translating the new party's article. --Angelo (talk) 21:59, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I am going to translate that article too, but I would like to get a good presentation of the process up to the establishment of the new party. I dont have enough information other places, so hopefully this article will be updated as well. I also posted a request on the discussion page on the Italian language article. --Oddeivind (talk) 22:17, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Logo Ulivo 2006.png

Image:Logo Ulivo 2006.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
