If anyone doubts their notability, see WP:MUSIC. They qualify in at least two capacities:

  • Has gone on an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in a large or medium-sized country

According to an article reproduced on Peter Case's website, "The Nerves had taken fate in hand and booked their own cross-country tour"

  • Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise extremely notable

The Nerves had Case, future Plimsoul.

Of course, these rationales don't even bother to mention that they were the original performers of "Hanging on the Telephone", a future UK top 5 hit for Blondie, later covered by millions. StarryEyes 09:44, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
