[edit] Merge tag

I tagged this to be merged with Crowded House as it's essentially the same band, with a previous name. This article has been tagged as a stub, and it's hard to see how much more it could be expanded further, and almost everything that's here is already in the Crowdies article, minus the last paragraph. The page is only just finding its feet. Curiously, the page has been around for almost as long as the Crowded House page, but nevertheless, the band was a successful band for their 15 month tenure. I intend on expanding this article once I get the time (though, at the moment, my focus is getting Crowded House to FA and Split Enz up to GE, so I'm somewhat busy at the moment). There's quite a volume to the group that is presently not being addressed on the page. And, as I noted on BrianFG's talk page, there is a precedence for bands like Linkin Park, whose previous bands are noted and are each given their own page (and there's about 3 or 4 of those bands). --lincalinca 15:40, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Is there anything about how the band officially views the Mullanes - as a separate band or an incarnation of CH? cheers, Casliber (talk ยท contribs) 11:14, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
When the group signed their recording contract, Hooper left and they then changed the name with him gone, and at the prompting of the studio, to Crowded House. --lincalinca 11:27, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
