Talk:The Mind of an Ape
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Why is this artical only about language? Is that all there is to tell about the mind of apes?
- Re-read the article. Sara and all the other research chimpanzees could point in the lab, which is not a natural behavior for them.
- Sara was never able to ask questions, only answer them.
- The research chimpanzees were not able to decode maps unless the scale was one-to-one.
- The research chimpanzees have to be treated properly or they fail to thrive.
- The three research chimpanzees who learned language also demonstrated the ability to possess values and make judgements.
I think this suffices to show that the article is not only about language. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ancheta Wis (talk • contribs) 17:25, 10 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Unlinkified
I unlinkified some of the words; I don't think they are required, being very common and well-known. Yuser31415 (Editor review two!) 21:33, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
