I've removed reference to The Beatles since the band has disbanded before 1970s started (its last major recording sessions were in 1969, in London; the Beatles didn't really see eye to eye since then).

"Also during the recording of Blood Sugar Sex Magik some things happened" Bravo. 121.72.11.124 11:27, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Random, but does anyone know which house this is in Laurel Canyon, or the address, or at least how to point it out?? Or where a picture of it might exist? I've been down Laurel Canyon a number of times, and I've even found Jim Morrison's house, but never found out which one the Rick Rubin Mansion is. Progdrummer17 23:46, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Progdrummer, I don't know if you'll be back, but I guess I can tell you which house it is if you really want. My pics are all from the inside (I have been there, slept there...the place is pretty darn creepy and it's easy to get a claustrophobic feeling in some of the rooms but even when I tried I never saw or heard any ghosts.) Just write msiaraipayNOSPAM@gmail.com - take out the NOSPAM part (I don't want bots/crawlers picking up the thing even though, FYI, this is an address created for one-time things like this & I might not check often). OK well, the thing I came here to say...
The article has a couple of inconsistencies: I know a lot of people think the house there now was Houdini's actual "mansion" but the mansion burnt down in the 50s and the house there now isn't his original residence... beyond that I don't know the details. Also, another error (or more like a rumor) in the article is where it says that Chad Smith didn't sleep there because he was scared of the haunting. He said he didn't sleep there because he needed his personal space and I think people just teased him about it being because he was afraid of ghosts. I don't want to edit this myself because I haven't read the "rules" and I don't feel like doing that or any other research right now. Maybe if years pass without change I'll consider. Ok people, I'm out, stay safe. msiarfyii 67.42.153.166 22:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
