[edit] Magic circle → Magic Circle
This article has been renamed as the result of a move request.
It's a proper noun, the name of an organisation, so it should be capitalised. Philip 06:13, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- SUPPORT. I don't see any reason anyone would object. —ExplorerCDT 22:50, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] registered british charity - NOT trade union!
magic circle is a registered british charity and governed by british charity law. it is most definitely not a trade union as it is NOT legally and never has granted that status. it has never been a member of the british trade unions congress either. in practice in does take on a role outside of its statutory guidelines. but ultimately it has to toe the line with being a charity. might be interesting discussion about whether it oversteps mark expelling members or attempts to campaignTiksustoo
- They're not that either. The Charity Commission website contains a registration for the Magic Circle Benevolent Fund (to assist present or past distressed members of the Magic Circle, their wives, children and/or dependants) [1] but nothing for the main organisation. The Magic Circle website contains no reference to them being a charity [2] and a wider Google search finds nothing to say that they are either. [3] - N (talk) 21:51, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Disambiguation
I changed the disambiguation hatnote from Magic Circle (disambiguation) to Magic circle (disambiguation) as the second one is more user-friendly (formatting etc.). I then redirected Magic circle (disambiguation) to Magic circle (disambiguation). The version of the page before I redirected it can be found here. GeorgeC 11:19, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
