[edit] Quit the Show?
From the main article...On Friday morning July 20, 2007 MJ announced that he "quit" the MJ morning show. He returned about 45 minutes later and said that he owed it to the listeners to finish out the day... What happened, can someone add to this part of the article please?
- If I remember correctly, this was the day that MJ had planned to destroy several copies of the latest Harry Potter book using an automatic weapon. He had obtained the copies in advance of their release somehow, but the publisher caught wind of the stunt and made a legal challenge to it. MJ walked out of the show in protest that Clear Channel did not "back him up" on this situation, but later returned. For more on this, you may want to visit www.mjpedia.com or www.mjfanpage.com. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 20:15, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List of Interns Removal Explanation
I removed the entire section for a multitude of reasons: 1. For the longest time there was only one person on the list 2. Someone from my high school put me down as a former intern, which is vandalism and a big problem for my own personal security 3. It is a horribly incomplete list, and I don't think it's ever going to be possible to get a near complete list 4. Doing the aforementioned would be frivilous and unnecessary, as well as take a very long time, as we'd probably have to gain access to Clear Channel's employment records at 93.3 WFLZ in Tampa, Fl
If you have any objections, please discuss them here. --CanesOL79 16:16, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bubba the Love Sponge
I really think you need to add something about the feud between MJ and Bubba as it is not only one of the funniest things to listen to on the way to work every morning, but it just makes the article more truthfull.
some things going on between them: 1. Bubba accuses MJ of falsifying the trademark on the logo, says the TM shouldn't be in the circle, and then says that the TM in the circle stands for tiny midget. 2. On Bubba's taking over of the morning show on 102.5 the Bone, Bubba hired 5 homeless men to stand outside of ClearChannel holding signs that read, "Bubba's Back."

[edit] Re: Bubba The Love Sponge
I have heard no mention of Bubba the Lovesponge on the MJ Morning Show, nor on his website. To my knowledge, Bubba is not a cast member on the MJ Morning Show, nor the subject of any promotion produced by the show. If Bubba is in no way related to the show, I don't believe there's any reason to include him in this article. The examples you list may be more appropriate for inclusion on the Bubba the Lovesponge page as examples of the content offered on that program. Ihateaubergine (talk) 13:23, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Support MJ does not acknowledge BTLS on his show. Any controversy here is purely one directional.--InDeBiz1 (talk) 16:39, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

- Both of you are misinformed. He did talk about him over dec07/jan08 about "a sponge returning to florida" and made a big deal about it and led up to an announcement all week, and then said it was something related to the florida aquarium. Also, he has had callers call his morning show and he replied to them that he can't talk because of pending legal matters. I listen to both shows every morning for about 1h45m and to make claims that MJ doesn't talk about BTLS is simply due to ignorance and the faulty confidence of ppl with 115 IQ's, who think they are an authority on WP. I won't edit this page, because I don't like editing hollywood material stuff. I edit stuff in chemistry/physics but the 2 users i'm replying to are wrong. To make the claim that you listen to every hour of his show and no one else is allow to contradict you... Just don't edit any of my science articles and I'll leave this page alone. 198.70.211.64 (talk) 19:51, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

- MJ does not talk about or acknowledge Bubba. Bubba talks about MJ a lot. Anything related to this lawsuit is much more suited for Bubba-related pages on here because of the big deal he is making over it all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.186.239.16 (talk) 19:00, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Page Protection
I suggested over a month ago that this article be semi-protected because of the inevitability that BTLS fans would vandalize the page. That suggestion was denied. Now, we appear to be having problems with BTLS fans vandalizing the article from IP addresses only, not as registered users.
Again, I would suggest this article be semi-protected. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 04:00, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Support: I think we're getting to the point where semi-protection may be necessary. The Todd Schnitt article is currently semi-protected, however, since that is a biography of a living person, my understanding is the administration team is more likely to protect that to prevent additional defamation to the article. It will be interesting to see what happens when that article's semi-protection expires on Saturday. Unfortunately, it does seem that erasing vandalism on this and related articles has taken up all of my time available to being a wikipedian as of late. Looking at the page revision history, it does not appear that anything meaningful has been submitted by unregistered users. Ihateaubergine (talk) 04:17, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

- I have a question. Do you mean the main-page or the discussion page? Thanks, ~NeuroDiversity9 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.70.211.64 (talk) 21:43, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
