This article has been rated as Low-importance on the priority scale.
This article needs an image (preferably free) related to the subject, such as a picture of the set or a film poster. A possibility for American films from before 1964 would be a screenshot from the trailer, as these are now in the public domain. Please make sure fair use is properly observed, or the image will be removed. See WP:Films MOS for image guidelines and assistance in uploading.

N.B. Must try and figure out how to disambiguate this once it leaves stub status. I presume the title of the film is derived from the part song? Adam Cuerden 17:25, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

I don't think we want to create bare-bones stubs unless we are planning to beef them up soon. It just makes it harder to keep track of what has not been attended to yet, IMO. --Ssilvers 06:54, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
The song is now in a separate article, The Long Day Closes (song). It may well be that the song inspired the film, but as the film article was here first, the song article gets the disambiguated title.
  • nod* Wasn't sure whether the main page ought to be a disambiguation page, or if one should be preferenced. Adam Cuerden 17:21, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
