Nice little piece here. I did a quick copy-edit, if you hate any of the changes feel free to alter. One thing I thought needed a bit of elaboration: A Greek Revival cornice with partial returns was added to the house sometime afterwards
Just add in when it was after (I assumed after his death but this wasn't clear from the article, by adding a year or word or two it would be much clearer.IvoShandor (talk) 23:01, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Turned out that passage (which I couldn't quite square with the photo) was talking about the slave building, not the main house. So that helps clarify that (I added that it was mid-19th century). Daniel Case (talk) 14:59, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
The only reason I read this article is because I wondered why the place was called "The Locusts". Could it not explain the name somewhere in there?Vox35 (talk) 17:08, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
