Talk:The Legend of Mir 2
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have removed a considerable ammount of the information about private servers. While it was very informative and most of it was true, it simply dwarfed everything about the official game AND almost looked to be an advertisement for a few of the members of that community. While I see no problem with somebody adding it back, I would hope somebody would add more information about the game itself, not only on how the software was stolen. --(JE 15:40, 23 May 2006 (UTC))
- Additionally, I do believe some of that information was quite irrelivant, and I also note a few attempts to express how the software has been replaced with a reverse engineered version of the server that seem a bit over the top, almost like they were trying to write history. Fact is, many people are still running servers using stolen software (from who is regardless), and they're still illegal. --(JE 15:56, 23 May 2006 (UTC))
You have to remember that this is a page covering The legend of mir as a total and not just the 'official' versions. But it really did need a cleanup, was just a load of waffle. Also they are not illigal and havnt been since 2003.
- The game hasn't been worth playing since 2001. --JE 12:49, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
..but you have still followed it and seem to know alot about it? Where do your priorities lie?
Wrong, the game has and will be played ethically by many people, with new patches added all the time on not only private servers but the official game its self, it makes the game more and more interesting, although the graphics may not be the best, it still matches most other games that populate our society today, this is my opinion. Please do not try and make it sound like your opinion is correct, when clearly it is not...
"new patches added all the time" umm pretty well impossible to achieve, you may mean often, but that is not the case, maybe you mean regularly, but again not so, if you had said often that too would be incorrect it would be closer to the mark to say new patches are added infrequently. Please dont ask us believe what we know not to be the case. Fantails (talk) 19:25, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
