Talk:The Last of the True Believers

[edit] Not "The Last..."
The proper name of this article is "Last of the True Believers", not "The Last of the True Believers". I have the actual 1986 cassette sitting here, so I am totally sure. Both the album and the cut do not start with the word "the". Also, refer to this Comprehensive Nanci Griffith Discography: [1].
So, if you know how, please change the article name, but keep a link from the old name, so that any mistaken references keep working. -69.87.204.251 14:26, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- I never have owned the cassette version, but I do own the compact disc version (close to 20 years now, and one of my oldest CDs). In fact, I scanned it and you can see my uploaded image at the top of this article. It definitely says "The Last of the True Believers" on the CD album cover. [edit] Woolworth's In popular culture
- In 1986, Nanci Griffith released a touching ode (particularly the interspersed monologue) to her home-town Austin, TX Woolworth's, "Love at the Five and Dime" on Last of the True Believers. (Also included in a number of later releases.)[2]-69.87.204.251 14:29, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:NanciGriffithTheLastoftheTrueBelievers.jpg
Image:NanciGriffithTheLastoftheTrueBelievers.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
