Anyone else notices similarities between this story and the movie Psycho? Should it be worth noting anything about it? (Norman Bates, the inn-keeper/murderer with an obsession with taxidermy?) After all, the script for the film was written the following year. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.130.205.49 (talk • contribs) 03:24, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

The novel of Pyscho was published a few months before Dahl's story. Also, murderous landlord/ladies are nothing new (see H. H. Holmes). Davepattern (talk) 13:46, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
