[edit] Relation with films

Why does it say "loosely based" when there is much consistency between the films and the tv series?

The plot lines aren't interlinked and new characters are coming in. So, the TV series basically just takes characters and places from the films. If it were based off it, it would have a similar plot. Kochdude388 22:11, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

The episode numbers on this page do not match those found on www.tv.com[1]. For example, the episode entitled Days of Rising Waters is listed as episode 8 on tv.com, but here it is listed number 18. The episode numbers also do not match the ones listed on the Cartoon Network page[2]. Does anybody know which ones are correct? Given that Cartoon Network is producing this series, shouldn't their episode numbers be treated as correct?Madpsintst 12:35, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

The plot lines are closely interlinked; we see characters return from the films, we hear mentions of events from the films (and even a flashback to a film in "The Lone dinosaur returns"), and mentions of other characters from the films (Pterano is mentioned twice so far.)

[edit] Cool Site!

Hey People. I just made a new land before time site. It has all of the tv episodes available to download. It also has many other fun activities. Spread this link around! I'm trying to get google to advertize it but no luck yet. Click here to go to my site!

Sorry to disappoint you, but what you're doing is called advertising and is frowned upon here at Wikipedia (WP:SOAP#Advertising). Please stop editing on this subject and please sign any future edits using the four tildes (which I can't show at this moment, as they trigger my signature). Kochdude388 01:11, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
This is one tilde, here: ~. Just use four of those to sing your name. Wilhelmina Will 04:09, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm sorry. I'm the owner of the site. I am not however posting the link here. I don't know who is, but please stop posting links to my site everywhere. It comes up on google and I do not need your assistance! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.171.50.184 (talk) 12:25, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What about Individual Pages???

Do you not think that we should have individual pages for separate episodes of the series? The synopsis of an episode is not enough for an encyclopedia (dis/agree?). We ought to have separate articles. Then we can also give the plots, mention continuity errors, give notes, and all the rest of that which we do with the episode pages of other shows mentioned in this encyclopedia (I'm talking about South Park, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, etc.) Give your opinions ASAP; I'll be waiting for them! Seriously, this really ought to be done. Too many of the episode pages of television shows, such as Iggy Arbuckle, The Nanny, or this one here are only getting a few episode pages, vs. sometimes over a hundred episodes (and The Nanny lost its, for some it's-just-plain-silly-that-it-was-even-considered-doing reason), and it takes a hell of a lot of convincing, it seems, to get people to work on this problem. If you, the account members, really care for Wikipedia, you will put in the effort to create these individual pages, and fill them with adequate info. I would do so myself, except for the fact that I am currently working on the episode pages for Iggy Arbuckle. Wilhelmina Will 03:04, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

"Like many editing guidelines, Wikipedia:Television episodes is applied inconsistently. For example, see List of South Park episodes and note that there is an article for each episode. An ideal response to such situations would be broader discussion of the guideline among editors with varying editing interest, with consensus achieved prior to widespread changes." [edit] Unsourced and most likely phony information.

I've been seeing some suspiciosu information popping up, such as for another DVD release of 4 episodes called "Adventuring in the Mysterious Beyond," and a (rather vague) description for an episode that hasn't even been aired yet (and probably doesn't exist in the first place), called "The Return of the Egg Stealers." I've been monitoring the situation, and the information has been constantly changing over the past few days, like how which episodes are going to be on the "Adventuring in the Mysterious Beyond" DVD. If you'll look in the history section of this article, you'll see that the episodes have been changed around for that DVD, going from "4 episodes TBA" to "The Amazing Threehorn Girl," "The Great Egg Adventure," "Through the Eyes of a Spiketail," and "The Big Longneck Test" to substituting this weird episode for "The Big Longneck Test," with no sources ever added. I'm seriously considering removing this stuff if this stuff keeps going on. Manny Cav 17:31, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
