There are approximately ten million books which might have an entry in Wikipedia. Why is this one so special? Richard Pinch 21:37, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Probably because of the amazing number of people who've undertaken to learn the "alien language" this book defined, not to mention the popular movies and television episodes using it. It's a significant part of the Star Trek pop-culture phenomenon.
  • There are many other books which do have entries in Wikipedia. Why shouldn't this book be among them?
  • There are many other books which have entries in Wikipedia despite having less influence and impact. How could we justify including them and not this one?
