Talk:The Internationale in Indian Languages
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There are versions of The Internationale in all the major Indian languages. Please help to expand the article by providing the lyrics and respective literal translations, and may be even the associated history. Also, there is an earlier Bengali version by Kaji Nazrul Islam. I found the song here http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/950 ,but the recording was too bad for me to get the lyrics.Srijon 05:50, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
While it is acknowledged that a Nazrul Islam version of 'The Internationale' also exists, the Mohit Bandopadhay translated version cited on the main page is recognised and accepted as the Communist Party of India theme song. It is accompanied by an original score. (Refer "Tori Hote Teer" by Prof. Hiren Mukherjee MP) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.205.138.151 (talk) 09:32, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Someone having knowledge of Hindi please add the Hindi lyrics to this page. The links to both versions are provided. Are the translations in other Indian languages available on the net? Srijon (talk) 04:57, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
